Diligence Security & Patrol Services, LLC, a contract security company, is recruiting dedicated, responsible & experienced individuals who would like to work for our security team. Our officers are responsible for the day-to-day security and patrolling of contracted companies and worksites. Full, part-time and temp positions are available. Prior experience in law enforcement and/or military background preferred. Competitive compensation.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be 21 years or older and be a US Citizen (for armed guard)
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
- Valid PPS (Private Protective Services) Card from the State of Tennessee
- Must not have been convicted of any felony or misdemeanor offenses
- Must be neat, well groomed and present a professional image
- Good communication skills; Some computer skills required on certain sites
- Must be able to work both indoor and outdoor sites
Representative Duties
The following lists of duties are typical for some of our positions. Duties are dependent on particular worksite(s)
- Escort and protect property and personnel as directed
- Conduct roving security patrol of facilities
- Patrol assigned areas in and around buildings, parking lots, and other public areas of work-site to prevent vandalism, theft, and abuse of the facility.
- Enforce applicable codes and ordinances
- Respond to emergency situations and contact the proper authorities
- Report acts of vandalism, theft, suspicious activities
- Prepare written reports of security-related activities and incident and their dispositions
- Provide courteous customer service and maintain a positive attitude with clients and the general public
Duties require incumbent employees to move around site(s) by foot and/or motor vehicle and respond to alarms in varied weather conditions.
